Hydrotherapy

Often referred to as water therapy.
Hydrotherapy is a specific therapeutic method that uses water to improve patients’ physical functions and abilities.

This form of therapy is an effective method of body rehabilitation, providing a healing environment—especially beneficial for individuals with cerebral palsy.

The density of water helps individuals with cerebral palsy move more efficiently, making both anaerobic and aerobic exercises effective and safe for patients.

Some of the main goals of hydrotherapy include improving psychological well-being, physical control and function, and enhancing overall quality of life and independence.

Various types of equipment can be used during hydrotherapy, such as weights and flotation devices.
