Psychomotor reeducation

Psychomotor reeducation (movement therapy) is a method used in the treatment of various developmental disorders.

It influences cognitive development while also helping to reduce feelings of tension.
Through movement, this method awakens, restores, strengthens, and enhances sensorimotor experiences.

The child re-experiences, through direct experience, the earlier stages of body awareness, and the phases of developing control over space and time.

Each movement performed during the exercises, along with the sensations and emotions that accompany it, is named with a word — allowing psychomotor activity to become a conscious experience.
